Big cities just begged for the Trickster’s touch of mayhem in the streets, and the urge made ever the more tempting at the lulls of silence between the masses. Ah, he’d have to orchestrate something while he was in town other wise he’d be disappointed in himself. His eyes swept across the crowded street one last time before returning to the petite blond woman once more. Seemed she was well known judging from the greetings she kept getting as she past each open store.
The smile returned to his face, a mask the Trickster had long since perfected in getting close to others even when they could feel the danger in the air. He slipped like a shadow through the crowds, easily making his way as the people parted around him, something innately telling them to move without a word. “Hello, dove” he spoke, a slick British undertone to his voice despite the fact he wasn’t even human. Wasn’t even from the same galaxy to begin with..
He set her on edge, not entirely sure why. Her fingers gripped her Rosary, feeling the same paranoid veil fall over her that Sunday night a year ago. She bit her lower lip, taking a half step forward before starting to walk towards her favourite tea shop. She needed a cup now more than ever.
Her efforts were stopped however, when the tone of a British man caught her steps. She paused, turning around and was staring up at the eyes of the man she had seen not but a few seconds ago. She blinked at him before giving him a timid, quiet smile. She nodded her head in a greeting, trying not to be rude.
Fear, oh that was something he’d almost forgotten about when people saw him, he’d started to miss that feeling, the small thrill of excitement that ran through his system when he saw it in someone’s eyes. The Trickster smiled again, looking the woman over as she smiled at him timidly, an attempt to be polite he figured. “Here dove, let me get the door for you” he breezed, might as well play nice before showing his true colors.
He shifted his weight back, hands fixing the collar of his dress shirt for a single moment before he stepped to the side, pulling open the tea shop door he stood in front of. Never hurt to have a little fun in the mean time, given that Riley was off doing her own business and tracking down the Warden meant having to fight with the stubborn bastard. Another disarming smile spread on his face as he quietly held open the door for the woman.

There was a certain dangerous tint to the air, something that usually foretold this Time Lord’s coming to an area. The blond man his way out of his hidden ship, shutting and locking the door behind him given that his companion was else where on Earth and his ‘prisoner’ was Gallifrey knows where. Pale blue eyes darted across the busy Boston street, no one noticing the sudden appearance of the Timelord as he walked. Humans, stuck in their own little world, never noticing the strange and different until it bit them. A petite little woman caught the Trickster’s attention, a slow steady smile crossing his face that hid the danger with eerie ease.
Precious had finally gotten off work. It was a gruesome scene in an alley today. It wasnt like she hadnt seen it before. Same injuries, a bullet to the head, one in the throat and the body was wiped clean of any prints and cash. Her gut gave a painful twist; hopefully the Boys had nothing to do with that one. She had lit a cigarette before turning down a sidewalk, wriggling past a few people, smiling at a shop keep once in a while when they caught her eye. Everyone knew Precious. Before her attack, she was just the blonde girl that took pictures, but then they all called her Precious after the attack.
She paused, stopping in the middle of the sidewalk. There was something.. dark. She felt it, the colder than winter air chill. Her fingers played with the Rosary around her neck, pads of her fingers smoothing over the celtic cross before she exhaled her lungful of smoke, turning to glance at a blue eyed man.

Warden: Left me alone fo’ too long, Tricky.
Trickster: Fuck, how’d you get Darling to go along with this?
Warden: Yo’ damn ship? Naw, that uselss pile of circuits still shocks me if I so much as try to lay a hand on a circuit board. This, this I worked out by ma’self, just for you Tricky.
Trickster: Lovely, I’ll be sure to keep that in mind when I program the next piece of Hell for you after this.
